It consists on taking the final file created after mixing and making it sound as best as possible in any audio system, no matter if its on earphones, a speaker…
It also makes sure that it is consistent with the rest of the songs of an album!
adr
ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) is a process where actors re-record their dialogue. It is used when there has been changes in the script, or the audio recorded on set is not usable.
During this process, the actor watches their scenes while re-enacting the dialogue in a controlled environment.
