WDS is one of the first three members of the Soundpaint™ demo team. The selection process began with a global competition. Three winners were recruited for the team. The challenge involved composing and producing one or more demos that incorporated at least one instance of Soundpaint™. The demos could be in any style.

Wolfgang D. Schott has made it to the semifinals of the Music Cosmos Composer Competition, beating out 600 composers from around the world!

Schirmbeck&Schott, together with the duo SOPHIE&NOAH, have been awarded first place in the ‘Best Pop Song 2025’ category at the 43rd German Rock & Pop Awards.
The German Rock & Pop Awards is Germany’s oldest and largest national competition for rock and pop music groups and solo artists across all musical genres.
The event is supported by the DRMV and the German Pop Foundation, whose board of trustees includes, for example, Heinz Rudolf Kunze, Nicole, Ralph Siegel, Juliane Werding and Mario Ohoven (President of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses).
