Applicable requirements

The accessibility requirements are set out in the Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG), in particular in Section 14 of the BFSG in conjunction with Section 3(1) and (2) of the BFSG, as well as in the regulations to be issued pursuant to the BFSG.
The specific technical measures largely comply with standard EN 301 549 and are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, with conformity levels A and AA.

The following options for accessible use of the web are available to the greatest extent possible:

  • Operation of the online shop via keyboard
  • Visibility of focus indicators
    Option to adjust font size individually
  • Use of sufficient colour contrasts
  • Images relating to individual products are provided with an image description
  • No content with rapid image sequences
  • Partial use of descriptive page titles and clear navigation structures
  • Clear explanations of input errors and provision of assistance
  • Use of semantic HTML structures and ARIA roles
